A sense of faith has led Innerware from humble beginnings at Thebarton as a supplier of everyday bras at discounted prices, to the opening of their fourth and fifth store's at Munno Para Shopping Centre and Morphett Vale. Perhaps fittingly, the store on Main South Road at Morphett Vale, is in a Church building.
'Our openings are an extension of the same idea that drove Innerware to open the first store all nearly 10 years ago. Simple faith that customers will support a store that always sells known, quality brands below the normal retail price.' said Carol Samaras, Innerware owner. 'We always had faith that a simple formula such as ours had to work, and history has proved us right as we've grown over the years. '
According to Carol, Innerwares steady expansion is also partly due to women becoming more aware of the importance of correct fit in providing comfort and support. 'To many people, it came as a surprise when an industry survey revealed that up to 70% of women were wearing the wrong sized bra. To us, it came as no surprise at all. We have always offered a complimentary expert fitting service. Right from day one we were amazed by how many women had for years been wearing the wrong sizes. The comfort women find in being correctly fitted is always a revelation. Together with our pricing policy, complimentary fitting and great service is a key factor that keeps our customers coming back.'
The stores at Morphett Vale and Munno Para, like all Innerware stores, stock an impressive range of big brand lingerie including names such as Berlei, Fayreform, Playtex, Bendon and Elle McPherson. Carol says that another unique Innerware advantage is depth of stock in all stores. 'We don't just have a handful of sizes and designs in our stores. In fact, we pride ourselves in having one of the very widest ranges of sizes available. We like to think that we offer women of all sizes not just a bra that fits properly, but a choice of styles and colours, too. After all, no woman wants to wear the same sort of bra day in and day out. No matter what your size, there's no need for lingerie and underwear to be boring.'
Innerware is a South Australian family owned business, established in 1996.
